Miss Mistie

Mistie is the high school and college dance team specialist for the studio and has successfully prepared dancers to make nearly all of the area dance teams, including: Eureka Golden Line, Lafayette Escadrille, Marquette Mystique (varsity, JV and junior), Westminster, Ft. Zumwalt West, Parkway South Patriettes, and Whitfield.  She also has coached dancers to successfully make college teams including Ole Miss Rebelettes and the William Jewell College Spirit Team.  Her classes focus on teaching precise, strong, and entertaining pom and jazz styles that lead to award-winning high school and college dance teams. A graduate of the University of Arkansas, Mistie was a four-year member of Razorback dance team and a ten-year head instructor for Universal Dance Association.  UDA is the nation's largest high school and college dance team training and competition company, and she performed and taught with UDA in New York, Orlando, Los Angeles, London and Paris.  Additionally, Mistie has judged numerous College National Dance Team Championships and High School National Dance Team Championships televised on ESPN.  As the four-year head coach and choreographer for the Parkway South JV and Varsity dance teams, Mistie led the JV team to two National Dance Team Championship titles in pom and jazz, and the varsity team to top 20 finishes in pom and jazz.
